A Good Healthy Sh*g
It’s not called sex drive for nothing. The human body is a vehicle with sexual activity as a built-in primary function and any mechanic will tell you that maintenance, regular running and a damn good oil change can only be beneficial to overall performance.
We’re constantly reminded to take regular exercise but a good workout in the bedroom burns up to 250 calories.
A good sex life reduces stress levels, giving your arteries less to deal with and aiding general longevity.
In Caerphilly, Wales, 1,000 men were monitored. It was discovered that those who experienced orgasm twice a week or more were 50% less likely to die prematurely rather than men who orgasmed once a month or less, obvious baaaaaad sheep jokes not withstanding!
So a regular romp could be just what the doctor ordered and even the elixir of youth!
Studies at the University of Chicago concluded that twice-weekly frolickers looked an average of 1.6 years younger than their less rampant rompers.
Dr David Weeks of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital confirmed that ‘aving a bit’, three times a week, particularly for those in a monogamous relationship makes couples look a staggering ten years younger!
That’s got to be a good way to convince your other half to make time for more regular rodgering.
What’s more, sex actually cures headaches; it’s the equivalent to taking two Ibuprofen! Blood flow is redirected to all areas of the body, relieving pressure on the brain and post orgasm relaxation is a guaranteed tension-buster.
So ditch the anti-ageing creams, expensive surgery and health oriented pseudo self-denial. Shag for health and shag for life and let’s face it, it’s got to be more fun than bean sprouts and yoga.
